We all were created for a purpose and our God moves in mysterious ways. So, to you who have known Hilda May Gordon (Daisy) over the years, those who are near and far - the making of Daisy was grounded in her early Orientation and Socialization which produced the product you have all been exposed to over the years. We hope you are influenced by what contributed to the good person she has been as described by many in their own choice of words: It is all about the Goodness of God who she believed in.

Daisy lived her life in a way that impacted positively the lives of those whom she met on a day-to-day basis.  Yes! she grew up going to church and her influence was very impactful both to those in the church and to those in the “streets”. This was very evident in the community where she lived as her neighbors experienced firsthand, what a giving and loving person she was. Most persons she was associated with had a story to tell about how calm, helpful, and trusting this gentle giant was; she had this amazing gift of making every person she met, instantly comfortable.

Know that forgetting Hilda May is not a possibility; past, present and future collapsed into a series of NOWS. As we all grieve for her. I know that “Grief is not an EVENT but a PROCESS. We are also processing her departure with the knowledge that “memories don’t leave like people do” so we who have been impacted by her will live with the precious memories she has left us.  Our faith in God is still strong. This belief helped us to understand that the Lord Giveth and He Taketh. Sail on, aunty, cousin, sister, wife, Daisy.
